  • [Nepal] History Of Nepalese Muslims

Situated in the lap of Himalaya, Nepal is located in South Asia. The average length is 885 km. east to west and average breadth is about 193 km, north to south. The area is 1,47,181 sq km. The country is situated between the two most populous countries of the world India and China. Nepal is a land locked country. There are a number of world famous peaks including the Mount Everest.

Historical records suggest that Muslims have inhabited Nepal for last 600 years although many people believe Muslims came here much earlier. Kashmiri Jame Masjid, situated on the king's eay only a few hundred meters form the king's palace, stands testimony to these early arrivals. Later, another grand mosque came into existence on the same road a few hundred meters south of the first - the Nepali Jame Masjid. During the reign of King Ratna Malla in 15th century A. D. Muslims entered into the Kingdom as traders. King of Chaubise in western Hill invited Muslim fire experts to train their soldiers in 17th and 18th centuries.

The origin of the people of Bhutan can be traced back to Nepal, Northern Burma, Northeast India and Tibet. The majority of the people are Buddhist and 5% are Muslim. Other minority religions include Hinduism and Christianity.

In previous years, when thousands of Shiah Muslims from the same region were slaughtered by the Taliban, they said nothing.

  • Pemikiran Sukarno Tentang Islam

Maka munculah istilah Nasionalisme Indonesia, Sosialisme Indonesia, Marhaenisme, Pancasila. More

Where do new ideas come from? The answer is simple: differences. Creativity comes from unlikely juxtapositions.

The goal of a designer is to listen, observe, understand, sympathize, empathize, synthesize, and glean insights that enable him or her to ‘make the invisible visible.
